Counseling That Meets Your Needs

Good therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. People come to counseling with different experiences, relationships, strengths, problems, and goals. Treatment should reflect that.

At Community Practice, we draw from different therapeutic approaches and practical interventions based on what you're working on and what actually helps. Sometimes that means examining patterns of thinking. Sometimes it means working on relationships, behavior, coping skills, communication, or changes in everyday life.

The goal is to help you move forward.

Individual Counseling

45-minute, one-to-one appointment that addresses specific concerns such as anxiety, mood regulation, or life transitions.

Couples Counseling

45 - 90 minute appointment designed to improve communication, safely negotiate conflict, and strengthen relationships.

Peer Recovery Support Services

Peer Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS) are people who use their experience of recovery along with specialized training to support those of us working towards our own recovery goals. Peer support can provide encouragement, practical assistance, connection to resources, and support from someone who understands recovery from personal experience.

Insurance & Payment

Community Practice currently accepts Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma (BCBSOK) for eligible counseling services.

Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary by plan. We can help you determine whether Community Practice is in-network with your plan and what benefits may apply before beginning services.

Private-pay counseling is also available.

Case Management

Case management helps people identify needs, connect with community resources and services, coordinate care, and work through practical barriers affecting everyday life.

Group Counseling

Group counseling brings people with similar concerns together to learn, share experiences, practice new skills, and support one another. Groups may focus on topics such as anxiety, depression, relationships, recovery, coping skills, or other shared concerns. Research has shown that group counseling can be as effective as traditional therapy.
